Theatre – Interactive Installation

Venue: The Melting Pot, 5 Rose Street
Duration: 03/08/10 - 30/08/10
Dates and times: Aug 6-9-11-13-16-18-20-23-25-27: Entry from 10:00 to 18:00.
Aug 10-12-17-19-24-26: Entry from 12:00 to 21:00.
Aug 7-14-21-28: Entry from 13:00 to 21:00.
(Audience admitted in groups of four every fifteen minutes)
Depending on the volunteer’s availability shifts from 4:30 hours to 8 hours.
Closing Date: Friday 30th July 2010
Show description: This exciting re-telling of three traditional Argentinian stories looks set to capture imaginations at Fringe 2010. Incorporating sound, projection and a bold site-specific design, this interactive installation takes the audience on a journey through horror, drama and comedy – where sensations become the main characters.
Job Details:
-Helping to provide a warm welcome to visitors.
-Front of House
-Supporting the initial set-up and the running of the performance.
-Guiding the audience (groups of four people) through a dark space for a short period of time.
-Flying
Personal specification:
-The ability to solve problems confidently, calmly and efficiently.
-Polite and professional approach in communicating with all participants
We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, reliable and friendly.
This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience and make contacts within the industry.
