All staff must have good clear communication skills with a strong focus on the customer experience, be presentable with a clear knowledge and interest in the arts. <br /> <span class="caps">FOH</span> Supervisors – <br /> Reporting directly to the Operations Manager; supervisors are responsible for the management of teams of volunteers to cover running of the front of house operation.<br /> Roles include:<br /> • Ticket collection<br /> • Checking venues before and after to make sure they are suitable for the public<br /> • Management of queuing audience for various theatre spaces<br /> • Management of the public experience of Summerhall and all tasks relating too</p> <p>Contract would run from 1st August to 27th August 2012. <br /> This will be a paid position.</p> <p>Located in the former Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Summerhall is a year round home for theatre and visual art, libraries, small museums, educational and research programmes as well as a cultural hub with artist, television and film studios on site. </p> <p>During the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival Summerhall is Venue 26. I have experience in all those areas (at a central London comedy club) apart from bar work and am variable in terms of hours and locations.
