This is a temporary role for approximately six months.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;The media office consists of the head of external affairs, the media manager, the media officer, the media accreditation officer and five media assistants. You will work in pairs so will be part of a team.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Requirements: This is a public-facing role and would suit some who is confident, articulate and an excellent communicator. You should be able to work on your own initiative, be positive, enthusiastic, responsible and reliable. You should be flexible in your approach, as you might be going along to different venues each day such as National Museum Scotland, the Scottish Storytelling Centre the City Art Centre and St Andrews Square.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Rewards for volunteering with us:&lt;br /&gt;&#10;We guarantee that volunteering with the &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;EISF&lt;/span&gt; team will be fun and rewarding, with a chance to meet new people and offers a great opportunity to gain valuable festival experience. In order to lead the Fringe to its next stage of development, we are seeking an experienced entrepreneurial professional with strong artistic vision to inspire, manage and increase growth across all areas of our business.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;As producer of the Fringe from its 2012 edition onwards, the Managing Director will work with the Board of Directors and senior management team to build a sustainable model and brand which is both internationally recognised and locally embedded.  Your knowledge of charitable legislation will be married to a proven track record for the building and delivery of arts events through corporate and commercial relationships.&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;You will bring with you strong event management experience and an extensive portfolio of contacts.
