About the festival
The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival is the city's biggest summer music festival, with ten days of concerts across venues from the Queen's Hall to St Andrew Square. It's the curtain-raiser for Edinburgh's August festival season.
The festival also produces the Edinburgh Festival Carnival, a colourful parade and family event on Princes Street that includes elements of the city's South Asian and Caribbean cultural programming. Hiring windows run April through May for festival roles, with carnival stewarding hires in June.
