theSpaceUK is one of the Fringe's largest venue operators, running around 19 performance spaces across central Edinburgh each August — including theSpace @ Surgeons' Hall, theSpace on the Mile, theSpaceTriplex and theSpace @ Symposium Hall. It recruits a large seasonal team of venue technicians, front-of-house and box-office staff, and press officers. Shifts are typically 6–8 hours within operating hours of roughly 09:00–01:00, with free show tickets (subject to availability), branded clothing and bar discounts.
